How can I get right with God when, being human, it’s not in my instinct?

Question posted on Yahoo! Answers: How can I get right with God when, being human, it’s not in my instinct?
I want to dedicate my life to Christ but I’m a naturally-sinful creature, so how is it possible???

    The only way to get right with God is through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between us and God. Believe in Jesus Christ and He will give you His life for yours meaning God will see Christ’s life when He will look at you rather than your own. That is the only way because we are so sinful and cannot get right with God on our own. Trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Read your Bible, understand more of who Jesus is and what He has done for you, and then just worship Him.

    You don’t have to wait till you get better. He will take you as you are.
