Question posted on Yahoo! Answers: Is it wrong for a christian person to be curious about demons, ghosts, etc?

i’m a christian and i don’t want my soul to go to hell or anything like that. but sometimes i wonder about demons and ghosts and haunted houses and stuff and i get curious and look it up on the internet or on youtube just to find out about it. it’s not that i WANT to get involved in that evil stuff cuz i REALLY DON’T!!!! stuff like that scares me, but sometimes i’m curious and i want to find out about it. being a christian, is looking up information about ghosts, demons, etc mean that you are INVOLVED in that stuff? is it sinful even though i’m just curious? would it cause me to become vulnerable to a situation that involves paranormal things? like if i think about it too much, does that mean my house might end up haunted or something? i’m 14 years old by the way
